Propamethone cream
Active ingredient :Betamethasone, Clotrimazole & Gentamycin.
Pack: 20gm cream.
Has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties.
Indications:
- Propamethone is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroids responsive dermatoses when complicated by secondary infection or when the possibility of such infection is suspected.
- Clotrimazole is effective in the treatment of:
Tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum and Microsporum canis. - Gentamicin is sensitive to Streptococci (group A beta hemolytic, alpha hemolytic), Staphylococcus aureus (coagulase positive, coagulase negative and some pecicillinase-producing strains) and the gram-negative bacteria, Aerobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Candidiasis caused by Candida albicans.
Tinea versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur.
